Genetic Test

The Dravet Syndrome Foundation spain, together with the economic sponsorship of Fundación BBK, offers a free genetic test (except postage of samples) for those cases suspected of Dravet or associated spectrum. These tests are carried out in the Instituto de Genética Médica y Molecular (INGEMM) in the Hospital Universitario de La Paz in Madrid.

 

Methodology

Test applications must comply with the following compulsory steps:


  • Download Documents 1 and 2 posted on the Dravet Syndrome Foundation web page:
    Documents

  • E-mail completed Document 1 to Dr. Eva Barroso, technical responsible of the project in the INGEMM:
    eva.barroso@dravetfoundation.eu

  • Wait for confirmation of application acceptance
  • Send sample and completed & signed Document 2 to the INGEMM’s address

 

IMPORTANT! No samples will be accepted unless the confirmation of acceptance has been issued.
